We're curious if anybody in this forum has taken a tour of Egypt arranged by either ElderHostel or TraveLearn. We've traveled all over on our own but these two are education oriented which seems very appropriate for Egypt. At 61 with the culture difference we are more interested in superinteresting than exciting.
Let us know if you have taken tours arranged by these orgs and your thoughts. Thinking of October this year. Thanks. |

Hello, I've never used either one of those companies but I do have an experience traveling to Egypt with the Isram World of Travel. I arranged my whole trip, including the Nile cruise with them. It was a very pleasant and interesting trip. Excellent service and very knowledgeable guides. I definitely recommend this company.

Hi, a friend and I will be arrivivg in Cairo Oct. 15, 2008. we will spend 6 days in Cairo then on to Aswan for 2 days then by felucca to Luxor. we are on our own and will do train travel. See www.seat61.com/Egypt for good travel info.
