hello, visiting vienna for a week staying on untere donaustrasse vienna 1020, hoping to find indian, or italian restaurant , or any where that will serve vegetarian food near by, appreciate any help, and if you can also help with supermarket or nearby market. Many Thanks

Supermarkets are everywhere so there is no point telling you exactly where to go. The nearest market is probably Karmelitermarkt.

I can also warn you about the probably closest Indian restaurant which is located at Franz Josefs Kai. I have been there once, heard of someone else who has been there once too, and I can assure you it is absolutely horrendous.

I don't know much about the Italian restaurants but as you will stay close to 1st district and Schwedenplatz there are several options. Generally there is no problem being a vegetarian in Vienna. Even the local restaurants and cafes have normally decent to great vegetarian food. I can warmly recommend a couple of restaurants a bit further away; St. Joseph and Mondscheinstüberl in Mondscheingasse in 7th district.
