Does anyone know how to get from Gibraltar (or anywhere near 'Sotogrande') to Faro (or anywhere in the Algarve). Also, if possible to tell me which is the cheapsist way of transport, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Maybe it's too late but, take a bus from Algeciras to Faro. You may have to change buses in Seville.
