Does anyone know how to get from Gibraltar (or anywhere near 'Sotogrande') to Faro (or anywhere in the Algarve). Also, if possible to tell me which is the cheapsist way of transport, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Urgent help needed!!!

Thank youu

You would need to take a bus from Gibraltar to Seville and then another bus to Faro I think.
We couldn't find any other way when we were in the Algarve a few years back.

It is not easy! I am assuming you will not have a car.

First you have to get from Gibraltar across the border to La Linea in Spain. You have to walk I believe.

From La Linea there are buses to Seville and from Seville there are buses to Faro and the rest of the Algarve.

Bus times La Linea to Seville can be found at

http://www.tgcomes.es/horarios_33.htm

there may be other companies operating along that route.

That journey is at least 4 hours and costs €20.20.

There are two bus companies operating between Seville and the Algarve. For convenience I have the timetables on my website at www.algarvebus.info/001.htm

That leg of the journey will take around 3 hours to Faro, obviously longer if you go on to Albufeira or the rest of the Algarve.

That's the only way' there are no trains and no planes.
