Does anyone know how to get from Gibraltar (or anywhere near 'Sotogrande') to Faro (or anywhere in the Algarve). Also, if possible to tell me which is the cheapsist way of transport, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Its a tough question ! I have done this trip a few times, but never using public transport. Basically there is no direct bus or train. From La Linea there is a bus to Sevilla which takes four hours. Have a look at
www.tgcomes.es/horarios_33.htm Once in Sevilla there is a bus from Sevilla to Faro which takes 2 hours forty minutes. have a look at www.eva-bus.com/home_pesquisa2008.php?lang=UK& I have no idea of the frequency becuase even though you click the English language the frequency is in portuguese. I hope that helps you a bit.
