| Anyone used this service for cell phones in Europe ? Posted: Sat May 10, 2008 05:02 PM UTC
I received this small pamphlet in my Peugeot leasing paperwork in France.
It advertises www.callineurope.com. According to this website, if you have an UNLOCKED GSM TRI-BAND PHONE, you can use this phone and purchase a line for only $29. Incoming calls in France would be FREE Outgoing calls from France to US and Europe would be: $0.39 Has anyone used this service ? how does it compare to other cell phone usage in Europe? Thanks Jeannette |

Travel,
if you're calling from home, why don't you use www.skype.com from your computer? It's very cheap. Jeannette |

J.-
You know your download/upload speeds? Well... mine is 26.4 kbps! I had skype on my computer, actually tried using it with a friend (in France no less :-)) Phone would ring but never was able to talk. And I'm horrible with tech stuff. For all I know there was some do-hickey that needed to be connected or turned on, or... But I couldn't figure it out to get it to work. Woe, is me. (sniff, sniff) |
