| Peru | Machu picchu in july - few tickets? Posted: Sat May 10, 2008 04:00 PM UTC
Hey
I have read that there are "few" (500-1000) tickets per day to MP. We're going to cuzco on the 8th of july, but are on a thight schedule. Is it possible to purchase a ticket that very day,and go to MP the next day? I intend to get traintickets well in advance, but I'm a bit worried about the limit of visitors per day to MP. please help me :) |

Hey.....
You must be confused with the limitation on participants on the Inca trail. To MP no limitations (yet). Read Marissa's pages - risse73 - on tickets etc for MP

Yes, nhoolb is right. It is possible that if you want to do the Inka Trail (during 4 days), the visitors are limited, however, if you want to visit the Machu Picchu ruins , you won't have problems.
