Hi!
I'm planning a ski week in Chile, probably in August-2008. I'll be travelling with 2 other friends. I was wondering, what is the best ski resort in Chile for skiing and also having fun during the week ? Does someone have tips about places to stay? Thanks in advance! |

Have you already looked at this website:
http://www.chileanski.com/esp/centros-de-ski.htm I am not into skiing - but it says the best infrastructure is in the central centres like Portillo. Apart from that you should keep an eye on the development around the volcano Chaiten which will almost certainly have influence on skiing further down in the south.

I think you will find that there is more aprés-ski action in Valle Nevada.
