London Which airport is easier to London town

Hi,

Can someone tell me is Luton or Stansted nearer to town...or I shld say easier to reach London city? Do you know the best and cheapest way to travel from these airport to Oxford Circus station

Luton is slightly nearer, but Stansted has faster rail connections as it has a dedicated direct service (the Stansted Express).

It's better to choose by flight cost/convenience rather than by transport options as there really is not much difference in the latter.

Both airports can be accessed by rail or coach. Coach is cheaper, but takes longer and is prone to traffic delays (plenty of those around London at busy times).

Stansted is easier because the railway station is right in the terminal.

Coach services may be cheaper than the train, but I've never tried.

They are cheaper. Much.

Easybus to Stansted costs from 2GBP.

But then there's longer journey time, and the potential traffic issue depending on time of travel.
