Since you havn't recieved any responses, you may want to broaden your question to all types of clubs/lounges.

If you want to go clubbing, then I guess south beach is fine, but for good food, go to Miami.
Two places I like are La Carreta and Versailles (Versailles is around 8th street and 34th ave SW). These are both good cuban restaurants.

If you are in South Beach - you will see many clubs and restaurants around you, most of them excellent ! enjoy !
