I will be visiting your city from 15-17 June (I know its not nearly long enough) but need to know what to pack. What is the weather like at that time of year. I live in GA where it is always HOT! Thanks.

The Weather Underground is a wonderful site for current conditions plus history of the weather when you are going somewhere on vacation or business travels. Here is the site for today's weather in Seattle. When you get to the site with this link just key in the dates you want to find out about.

Whoops!! I always assume everyone can get around an internet site easy enough. First you can paste the previous website address by scrolling across the address while holding down your left mouse button. Once it is highlight in blue hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and type a c (for copy). Go up to your address line and click in once to highlight anything you've had previously in blue and then hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and type a v (for paste). Once you get to this page, look near the top for a link that says Trip Planner which will allow you to put in your custom dates and give you a history of weather for that time. Any questions or problems use the post or email me here at virtual tourist by clicking on my name.

For the month of JUNE:
Expect Seattle to be mild in June … Some short-sleeve weather, many sweater days, some light jacket days, and many days that umbrellas would be handy. High temperatures in the day are likely to be between 65 and 75 F – the odd day they can at some times reach a high of 80 F at the warmest. Low temperatures at night are likely to be between 45 and 55 F There is a good chance of hitting sunny days. But a stronger chance of hitting overcast days that are “sort-of-rainy”. Most often you will hit medium mixed days with periods of overcast, periods of sun, and some drizzle. It’s likely to be slightly breezy, especially near or on the water. A word about the rain for which Seattle is famous: In many areas of the country, when it rains it RAINS – downpours. Not so in Seattle. Except during storms in winter, it rarely rains hard here – it just tends to intermittently drizzle during the day. If fact, when you look at total inches of rainfall, you’ll find most cities in the US have far more total inches a year. But when you look at “days in which rain occurs” you’ll find Seattle near the top. Any don’t look at the weather report one day and expect it to be similar 5 days later. Seattle, being near the coast, varies a lot day to day. A couple of websites that give good indications of typical weather for Seattle: http://www.beautifulseattle.com/clisumm.htm http://gonw.about.com/library/climate/blSEAclimate.htm
