hi all

am flying out on the 17/05/08 and staying at the ritz carlton can somebody tell me the pro and cons about the hotel and which are the best shopping centres for bargains i understand sportswear is cheap in kl compared to england am also after wii products any advice any help is gratfull oh by the way id need a sim card as well any suggestion?

This hotel is a 5 star hotel, I have not stayed in there but the security is good. Lots of shopping around the hotels for branded goods. I think prices here are cheaper compared to England after the currency converted.

pre-paid sim is easy to get anywhere in kl... Maxis has arguably the best quality but Digi seems to be cheaper in plans...

as for shopping... KLCC and Mid Valley (http://mapdoo.com/?id=aab125542) are very popular and safe places to go. or u could try to use local search maps and browse through http://mapdoo.com

since u'll be touching down on 17/5 and u r from the UK... i'm sure u wanna plan and heading to the bars to watch the UCL final between Man Utd & Chelsea on 21/5... Malaysians are crazy about football and u could easily find great places/bars for watching live football... i would recommend Hartams Aquare... an outdoor eatery place where u can enjoy the beers and giant screen... great atmosphere too... err.. would like to go with u... btw i'm a fan of liverpool...hence i'll rather sleep :P
