All Star is a very family frendly resort and tends to be on the crowded side especially the pool area. It can get hot that time of year and very humid. I have been to Disney in July and the temps have reached to 100 degrees.

The crowds will be big but that is par for summertime in Disney. Utilize the fast pass options at the major rides and attractions. My routine when doing Disney is to start early in the parks, as soon as they open. (What kind of park pass will you have? Park Hopper?) Go back to your hotel to rest or swim or to one of the water parks from noon-3pm. This is peak time at the theme parks and peak heat.

get back to the parks around 5-6. ride some rides, get a bite to eat and watch the fireworks.

Dress is casual at the parks. Most of the restaurants inside the World are casual attire. There are few that require you to be "dressed up". I would suggest making reservations ahead of time because they tend to fill up fast.

What are the ages of your children? I'd be happy to suggest some place geared for your kid's ages.

Drop me a line if I can help you further. I'll be in Disney in June.

I have stayed in the All Star Music resort and it is fantastic! I have been in February, April and in September and the weather has been around 30 degrees each time so i guess the summer months will be hotter.

The crowds might not be that bad as it is out of season still, schools not breaking up til the end on july. Make use of the Extra Magic Hours and fast pass services Disney provides as they help get on the big attractions with little ques.

Disney has no dress code, the only thing they care about is the guests having a magical time while they stay there.

Also buy the refillable mugs from the hotel shop, they cost about $12 each but they will save $$$ from drinks and they can be refilled free! The rooms have air con which works perfectly and the temperature can be set manually with very minimal noise. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are actually quite large.

If you want more info on what their is to do or more tips then message me @ blitzerboy@hotmail.co.uk and i will try and help.

Have a good trip!
