I found this on another website:-
"Although Vernazza has only 500 residents, it's got an ATM, two banks, several public phones, a laundromat, a grocery, a bakery, a new Internet cafe, and, most important, a gelato shop for connoisseurs of Italian ice cream. " Obviously, the gelato shop is the most important ! http://www.welcometuscany.it/outside_tuscany/regio

As you walk away from the train station towards the water there is one on the right hand side just tucked into a wall but you wont miss it. There is only one "street" so you wont get lost. Ask the locals if you need directions. They'll be more than happy to assist.

One thing to take into consideration....sometimes, the ATMs in these small towns run out of cash during the height of tourist season. Best not to wait until the last minute.
