Posted: Wed May 7, 2008 10:37 AM UTC
Hi All, Sorry it's me again...

Does anyone know if there is a bus from Dubrovnik to Sveti Stefan and a bus from Sevti Stefan to Zabljak.

I'm visiting montenegro for two weeks in July and these are the 2 places I am staying.

I only now that there are buses from Herceg Novi (close to Croatian boarder)to Dubrovnik. I'm not sure that any buses leave from Sveti Stefan, you may have to go to Budva to catch a bus to anywhere, it is aprox. 7 km away.

I've just read that there are private taxes on these routes, so ask some questions once you get there.

- Dubrovnik - Igalo - Herceg Novi - Kotor - Sveti Stefan - Budva - Tivat -
- Dubrovnik - Igalo - Herceg Novi - Kotor - Cetinje - Sveti Stefan - Budva - Tivat
- Dubrovnik - Trebinje - Niksic - Podgorica - Sveti Stefan - Budva - Tivat

Sveti Stefan is very close to Budva, go to the bus station there and ask if there is a direct bus to Zabljak. Last time I was there the timetable showed one bus daily on this route, but these things do change. Even if there isn't, get one of the many Budva-Podgorica buses (about 1.5 hours) followed by one of the less frequent buses from Podgorica to Zabljak (about 4 hours).

Getting there from Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik bus station timetable currently shows a bus leaving at 10.30 for Budva. I have seen shuttle buses from Budva to Sveti Stefan or you could just get a taxi. If the time of the Dubrovnik-Budva bus doesn't suit, you could get one of the other buses to Herceg Novi from where there are frequent buses to Budva.

Budva - Sveti Stefan buses http://olimpiaexpress-budva.com/fckeimages/image/budva_red_voznje/linija_2.pdf

You will probably need to go to Budva bus station and take a bus to Podgorica and change there for Zabljak but it is going to be a long journey. There are frequent buses to Podgorica but I don't know about buses from there to Zabljak.
