| Madrid | Getting to Segovia from Madrid Posted: Tue May 6, 2008 08:38 PM UTC
I will be in Madrid later this month and am wanting to book as many of the travel arrangements I need for my trip before I go. I have information on taking a train from Madrid to Segovia but I have heard that there are buses that go there which would be quicker and more comfortable. The sites I have visited for buses, do not appear to have a route from Madrid to Segovia. I was wondering if someone could help me out. If there is no website, could someone tell me where we would want to check into in order to get a bus to Segovia? Thank so much in advance.

Although it was a few years ago, I know that I took a train trip to Segovia from the Recoleto station in the heart of Madrid, which is located underground between Plaza Colon and Cibeles. It was very easy.

Take the bus-very easy and the bus station in Segovia is an easy -less than 5 minute- walk to the aqueduct! The bus is very comfortable with assigned seating.depending on traffic it can make it in less than an hour!
By train you need to take a bus into town............
