PLANNING A TRIP TO KATMAI. ANYONE KNOW ABOUT BACKCOUNTRY CAMPING THERE? THE CAMPGROUND IS FULL AND I DON'T WANT TO BE OUT THERE BY MYSELF! I KNOW THE CAMPGROUND HAS AN ELECTRIC FENCE AROUND IT BUT BACKCOUNTRY WON'T..IF I KNOW OF PEOPLE THAT WILL BE STAYING ON THE OUTSKIRTS GREAT BUT IF NOT,,I AM NOT SURE HOW SAFE IT IS(BEARS)I FIGURE IF THE STAFF IS USING FENCES THEN THERE MAY BE REASON TO WORRY. HAS ANYONE DONE IT THERE? APPRECIATE ANY HELP AT ALL
