Hi there,

Does anybody know the website to search for the coach services from Barcelona to Alicante? Is it best to travel between this two cities by coach or train?

You can go either by:
- air: cheap flights in www.edreams.com
- train: ther is a very good, direct and quick train called Euromed: www.renfe.es
- Bus: www.linebus.es/ofertas.htm or www.barcelonanord.com/esp/horarios/pantalla1.asp

avoid the bus by all means.
the train is ok, it's a long trip but Euromed is comfortable. if you travel by train avoid other trains that are not Euromed.
the plane would be the quickest and most comfortable way. check out clickair (www.clickair.com). thats a low-fare company and they have flights barcelona-alicante (the flight takes aprox 1h, and sometimes it's cheaper than the train). other companies are iberia, spanair... you'll find most of them listed on pages such as edeams.com, rumbo.com, etc

I found great flights on spanair and aireuropa! We didn't want to take a long train ride, the flight is only one hour.
