a couple of co-workers were there last august and they fell ill because of the humidity and heat. so make sure you have a bottle of water with you at all times and a hand towel would come in handy too.

I will be there too for the Olympics :) Expect the Olympics atmosphere and the events will be wonderful and overwhelming. So will not be too worried about weather and air quality. After all millions of Beijingers and a number of expats work and live there all year round.
