You can't.
There are barely any far distance buses in Germany at all.

If you book in advance you can make this trip with trains from EUR 29,00.

From: Munich

If you stick to regional trains you can make this trip
Mo-Fr: Bavaria Ticket Single (EUR 19,00) + Baden-Württemberg Ticket Single (EUR 18,00)
Sa,So: Happy-Weekend-Ticket (EUR 35,00)
This option is if traveling with others even more attractive, e.g. the Happy-Weekend-Ticket is good for up to 5 persons traveling together.

Select at the DB timetable as means of transport "only local transport" to get connections with regional train only. One further advantage of these local public transport tickets: they cover also the S-Bahn, U-Bahn (only Munich), trams and buses in Munich and Karlsruhe.
