Fethiye Boat day trips from Fethiye
Posted: Tue May 6, 2008 08:52 AM UTC
Hi fellow-travellers,
We will be in Fethiye next week and have allocated Tuesday/Wednesday to do a boat trip, my ideal would be to start and end in Fethiye and go to Dalyan Delta, mud baths, Iztuzu beach plus more. Is there such a boat trip? if so which company is a good one to go with? what can i expect to pay, we have a car and can drive to start our boat trip in Dalyan but i thought it might be more scenic starting from Fethiye. BTW, is it too cold to swim at the moment?

Thank you very much for your answers
ciao

do you want to stay overnight on a boat? search Gulet cruises/ gulet turqouise cruise. some of these depart from fethiye I believe, but by boat its quite a long trip to dalyan. Very nice way to do it though

Look at my pages for sea temps and air but sea temps are here below
http://www.meteoroloji.gov.tr/2006/tahmin/tahmin-denizsuyusicakligi.aspx
Still warmer than England ever gets.
It's a days travel both wats by boat so do 1 at most, but unsure how many if any companies run from Dalyan to Fethiye, the entrance to the sea from the river is very shallow. Do a day trip to Dalyan etc. by car 1 hr, maps on my pages, turn after Ortaca going Northwest. Then do the 12 island tour or hire a gulet for the next day and just relax.
