my girlfriend and i are planning on going to lake garda early next month and we wanted some advice on which town and hotel to stay in.we are both in our 20's and we are looking for somewhere close to bergamo airport,the theme park and water parks and has a good night life.

Again, probably the nightlife is best nar Desenzano or Bardolino ( http://www.gardainforma.com/en/nightlife/discotheken.html) if you mean for that clubs/discos.

If not, my advice is Malcesine, in the north. Better scenery, waters and general ambience.

Nothing is really close to the BGY airport, but probably the west part takes a shorter trip.

Hello! I was in Bardolino ( Hotel Bologna - see my travel pages )last spring - a charming little town you wont regret to visit or to stay in. Theme and water parks ( Gardaland, Canevaworld, Movieland, Safari park )less then 10 km away. Not much night life, but you have Verona 20 km away. Enjoy!
