Saluto Massimo,
Constanta - Kogalniceanu airport is for the moment at the start of a NEW beginning life, so the best way to go to the city center is by taxi. The distance is 25 km and the price is 25 Euro.
Arrivederci,
Sandu

Isn't the regular taxi fare in Constanta around 1.6 lei (€0.44)/km ?

Massimo, Massimo,
How much you know something about Constanta area ?! In THIS case, for sure, you are stupid... I tell you, the airport is outside the city, the distance is 25 km, so, in Romania the taxies take double price outside of the cities (go and back). Kogalniceanu is a village, you can take a cart to Constanta and 3 euro price will be ok for you...
Take carry,
Sandu

If you can't reach an agreement with the taxi drivers at the airport, you could walk from the airport to the main road nearby (about 500 m away) and wait there for the relatively frequent minibuses running the route between the above mentioned Mihail Kogalniceanu village and Constanta.

Thanks !
If there would be a monopoly taxi company at that airport, like there is Fly Taxi at Bucharest's Otopeni airport, it would still be a relatively good thing (at least they would have a clear price) - but I'm afraid that there are just independent taxi drivers with..."variable" prices.

Well so we have to pay more less 1Eur/Km. That's right, but it seem to be too much this double price for km. I hope that they will start a bus service or a cheper service to reach the turistic place on the black see. Soon people from italy will understand how expensive will be to reach the beach and maybe should be more economic go in other country. In spain and malta, for example ,taxi from airport and hotel fares are lower. So if romania want to became a turistic place for italian it should offer also cheaper services (my hotel asked me 100 RON for a transfer service one way).
Caro massimo io arrivo a constanta domenica 18 mattina, siamo in due, se vuoi si puo' dividere un taxi se arrivi lo stesso giorno.

Hello. I did a little digging and it is true what one of the previous friends mentioned. There are shuttles from the airport to Constanta Station. Most likely they are at least twice cheaper if not thrice. Good luck.
