I arrive in Bari airport at 17.50 on a Saturday do I have enough time to get to the train station for a train leaving at 19.08.

You should allow at least 30 minutes to get through immigration/get bags etc.
It will be a bit tight, I think. You have no chance of catching the 1800 bus and the next one arrives too late. You might have to get a taxi. http://www.aeroportidipuglia.it/default.asp?idcontenuto=281 for bus info/timetable.

It's a little bit difficult...
Considering 30 minutes to bring the luggages,you have only about 40 min. to reach the Railway Station and so the only way would be the taxi...but the traffic on Saturday afternoon is very very caotic in Bari... Accoding to me,there isn't enough time....
