Can anyone tell me where the train stop is going to be, when i book a trip from toronto to niagara falls via rail?
Where in Toronto to I board and where in Niagara Falls does it stop? Is it far to the falls itself from the stop in Niagara? Or is it in walking distance? or reachable via bus (which one) or via cab? thanx a lot for your answer in advance warm regards nazim |

Your train journey, which should be just under 2 hours, will begin at Union Station which in downtown Toronto on the south side of Front Street just west of Yonge (in between Bay St. and Avenue Road). The cost of this should be around $40.00 ($42 was the price when I punched in June 4th as a travel date).
You will arrive at Niagara Falls train station which is located near Whirpool Bridge, 4km from the Falls and 2 blocks from downtown. You can google map it with this address: 4267 Bridge Street Niagara Falls,ON L2E 2R6,Canada So, it depends on what your walking tolerance is, who you have with you and how much stuff you carry with you. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your tips.
There is two of us (Couple) travelling to the falls. I guess it is too far for us to walk 4 km. I guess we will have to look for a bus. Do you know if the greyhound stops at the falls themselves? Or do you have any other suggestion? Many thanks for your help in advance warm regards nazim

You do not have to walk 4 km. There is a shuttle bus service along the full extent of the Niagara Gorge. You will end up using the shuttles mo matter where you stay or no matter if you arrive by train or Greyhound bus.
Decide on a place to stay , with close access to the shuttle buses.
