Hi, I had a rookie ranking of 800 something, now its gone. It says unranked like it did when I first started on the site. Whats going on?

Must be a glitch in the system - I just looked at your homepage and your rookie rank was 379, but your overall ranking was unranked, yet in this forum you have a bronze star.

Don't worry about it: there are several VT glitches which appear at various times, and it all gets sorted in the end. The 'new' VT is gradually coming into being and, I think, causes hiccups sometimes. Unless you looked at your VT rank rather than your rookie rank?

At the moment I can only see a third of my 'top 5'pages. But it will eventually come right.

Don't worry-this ranking business is not a matter of "life and death". There are more important things in life to worry about.

Thanks, just curious. I don't think rankings are "life or death" I don't think I even implied that. Just asking a question that came to mind.

i don't think any of these questions or topics on VT would even be here if they needed to be "life or death" urgent to ask them. there are more important things in life to worry about than VT altogether!

anyway, your ranking is most likely, as stated, just a glich. check back in a couple of days and it should be back :)

That was rather a harsh answer Noel!
Of course it's not a 'life or death' but when someone has started to work up the ranks it's perfectly resaonable to ask if it dissapears.
