Bangkok Muay Thai/Floating Market/Forensic Museum
Posted: Sat May 3, 2008 03:50 PM UTC
Hi I am going to BKK this coming July and would like to visit the above places. I intend to travel using BKK's public transport but does not really know how to get about to these places. Anyone out there can offer some advise? Tuk Tuk and buses are fine for me to travel about.

For detailed directions on how to find the Forensics Museum, I found the following website: http://marielynn.net/blog/?p=149

I did find the museum somewhat interesting and a bit different from the other sights around Bangkok. Have a nice trip!

Muay Thai : We have 2 stadiums >> Lumpini Stadium and Rachadamneon Stadium. When you once want to go with local people or ask for their phone to call if which stadium is open on that day.

Floating Market : The floating Market is 1.5 hours from Bangkok and it's only morning market. If you want to go there cheap way, I recommend you to stay one night and visit in early morning. Or just contact tour counter which you can find in many places in town. Buy 'join' tour, it's about 600-800 Baht/person.

Forensic Museum : it's in Siriraj Hospital. Please to the river area and take the boat to get of at "Tha Chang" pier. You can then connect to the ferry and cross to get off at "Wang Lang" pier. This hospital is just next to the pier and the river.
