I will be in PC in August for the marathon.[1st time in Panama]
I am looking for a decent cheap hotel near the start [Multiplaza mall] "Near"could mean accessible by foot in 10-15 minutes as I'll need to save my energy! |

if you are looking for a cheap hotel near multiplaza you not going to find them the hotels near by are all over $60 the closest to multiplaza is otel Paitilla Inn www.plazapaitillainn.com and Radisson Decápolis www.radisson.com. the cheap hotels hotels under $60.00

On via Brasil there are two hotels that are walking distance to MultiPlaza Pacifica mall. The Crystal Suites Hotel which is the closest and another which I am not sure of the name, but I will check on it if you want me to. I have to check rates on the Crystal Suites. It has a restaraunt on the ground floor and there is a Texaco station across the street that sells food, too. And, there is a fonda across via Brasil, as well.
There is also the Cesar Park Hotel (Sheraton) on Via Israel and Calle 77 which is just a few blocks from the Mall. But it's well over $100 a night.

The Other hotel I was thinking of the the Hotel Aramo, their phone # us 507 269 2355. They are across from Texaco, not the Crystal Suites. But they are only two blocks apart. Crystal suites rooms start at $65 a night, but it includes buffet breakfast and they do have airport transportation,too.
