Hi everyone, we have just picked a late booking to fly next Saturday (eek!) so not much time to research this one. It is 4 years since our last visit and my Mum is now not as mobile as she was since breaking a hip so at home in the UK she uses a small electric scooter to get about while shopping etc. She can walk short distances but we need to make life as easy as possible for her to last the pace. It sounds like we can take her scooter with us if necessary but have been thinking it may be easier to hire one over there.

Where would we get one?

Would a 7 seater mini van be spacy enough to load it to cart around?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Google is useful for this. Try searching Orlando scooter rentals, many options.

If the scooter is colapsable it could fit in the back of the van.

Thanks - found one called Scoot Orlando and they even deliver direct to your villa or hotel. Sounds good.

just to let you all know, we found a company called Scootmobility who have delivered a scooter direct to ourvilla and will collect on our last day. Tested it out at the Florida Mall on Sunday and yesterday at Islands of Adventure. Passed with flying colours! Will post up in tips on our return, now back to the pool....
