A GROUP OF ENGLISHMEN WILL BE IN LINZ FRO 5 DAYS FROM 8TH JUNE, WE WILL BE ENJOYING LOCAL HOSPITALITY AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW OF ANY BARS THAT WILL BE SERVING REASONABLY PRICED FOOD IN THE EVENINGS FOR A GROUP OF 16 VERY WELL BEHAVED FOOTBALL FANS. HOW MUCH IS THE BEER IN LINZ, AND CAN I BUY A GUINNESS.

there is quite a popular and large Irish Pub in Linz, on Hessenplatz and I cannot imagine that they would not have a Guinness
b.t.w. Capital letters in a forum are considdered to be screaming ! ...and you are trying to tell us you are "well behaved" Football fans ?? ;-)

Hi guys,
yes, there are several pubs along the Landstrasse. If you like to try some good austrian food, go to Klosterhof (also at Landstrasse). But if you like Guiness, you are right at Hessenplatz at Irish Pub, but it is worth to try some austrian beer!
