hello
when entering thailand do you have to enter via Bangkok airport? I want to fly bkk to Hanoi then Ho Chi Minh to phuket? but not sure if i can do that? would i have to re-entre via Bkk and fly down to Phuket? Im not going till feb so its still a bit early to check out on the flight booking websites, just trying to get a feel for my options at the mo Many thanks Cat x |

More than likely yes you would have to go via BKK and possibly the old airport DMK (depending on your internal flight in Thailand, but Phuket is an international airport and each year take more direct flights from other countries.

There are no flights Hon Chi Minh-Phuket, you'll have to go through Bangkok. Nok Air and Air Asia fly BKK-Hanoi, and Air Asia Hanoi-Bangkok. From Bangkok you have many airline choices to get to Phuket. All international flights go through Suvanabhumi and it will be easy to pick up a flight from there to Phuket.
