| Norway | September in Norway Posted: Wed April 30, 2008 07:04 PM UTC
I have to be in Sweden on 17/18September and am planning to spend about one week traveling in Norway. Weatherwise would it be perferable to do Norway before the 17th? Also at that tme of the year is it necessary to book hotels in advance. We are lanning to spend most of our time in the fjiord country.
Thanks ALLEN |

Strangely enough, the 2nd week of September normally gives "Indian Summer". My advice is to go to Norway the week before you are planning your Sweden visit. Hotels should not be a problem at that time, but I would advise you to book before you come as prices always are better in advance.
Welcome to Norway.

The weather is hard to predict, so I recommend bringing some layered clothes. Hotels is generally not a problem that late, but be aware that if you are going to stay at hotels in Oslo, booking ahead is always necessary, as hotels rooms are in high demand.
