Where can I find genuine, good quality and cheap silk fabrics? Are those fabrics selling at the day markets of good qualities? First of all how to tell from the texture? I intend to buy in bulk. Please advice. Cheers......

First of all, i'd like to tell you that silk is not cheap. Silk is handmade and it takes such a long time to get even only 1 yard. If you don't mind to buy something which it looks just like silk, you can find them at "Pahurad Market" but if you want real silk you can walk along Silom Road or Surawong Road where it's close to each other. You can search for the cheapest one by walking and checking price first. There're many shops in that Area.
Silk shop in Surawong Road is not far from Jim Thomson silk shop (i don't mention Jim Thomson because it's not cheap but very good quality) Silk Shop in Silom Road is nearby Sofitel Silom Hotel

If you're really serious about buying in bulk go to Chiang Mai where the factories are located.
