Hotels in Harbin-Rupertlee?

We are planning to visit Harbin for the Snow and Ice Festival January 2009. Can anyone suggest the most convenient hotel to be able to walk around the city and still have easy access to the sites?

Hi,

I am also travelling there in Jan 09, make sure you are prepared clothing wise, it is going to be a cold one!!

The lungmen Modern plaza is central to most of the sites (Zhaolin Park, Ice & snow world etc)

It costs $42 a night for a double room.
