Cancún Cancun area

Hi,

We will be traveling to the Cancun/Mayan riveria area.
We were wondering in which area should we stay.

Our interest are: We like to cycle, hike, snorkel, and walk.
We usually exercise/explore for about six hours.
Then we like to have drinks during the late afternoon and night.
An all inclusive hotel with bikes would be perfect.

Any recommendations would be appreciated
Thanks

Long distance cycling will be limited due to road structure and driving habits. The Cancun Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen and PlayaCar, the places I have been, give you the option of touring the tourist streets.

I like The Royal Hideaway in PlayaCar and the Royal in bothe cancun and Playa del Carmen.

I`m not sure if they have bikes though.

Have a great trip

See my Puerto Morelos page.
It is great fishing village with great FREE snorkeling right of the beach and better $25/person if you rent a boat and go to the coral reef.
They have bikes to rent.
Village is tourist friendly with some quiet and some loud bars.

Depends on who you are, but I like Cancun. 10 miles of bike path up & down the seven. Bike rental near all the hotels. Hike & bike on day trips like to Coba.
