| Barcelona | Mid May in Barcelona and Madrid Posted: Tue April 29, 2008 07:09 AM UTC
My wife and I, daughter and a 3 year old granddaughter (3 adults and one child) will be flying into Barcelona mid-May, stay a few days and then move on to Madrid, stay a few days and fly out from Madrid. We have 11 days. This is our first time and would appreciate recommendations on places to stay in Barcelona and Madrid (family apartment if possible)or medium type hotel, local travel/tour packages and mode of transfer Barcelona to Madrid. What would be the cost by bus or train. We are also keen in visiting Cordoba from Madrid. What are the transportation possibilities to do this. Appreciate your help and recommendations. Thank you

For transportation, check train schedules at RENFE, the national railway system:
www.renfe.es Low-cost airlines are an interesting option when you don't have much time. The earlier you book, the better fares you can find. www.vueling.com www.clickair.com
