| Nicaragua | Safe, affordable accommodation Posted: Tue April 29, 2008 06:00 AM UTC
I'm a solo female American traveler looking for some affordable and safe accommodation, either a hostel or homestay.. preferrably a homestay to really help me with my deplorable Spanish. I won't be in Nica for more than 5 or 6 days, after a 2-week program in Costa Rica.
I'd like to spend no more than $30/day, including everything, but can expand that for the right place. Advice? Experiences? Thanks! |

in granada there's a great little hotel, brand new, excellent food, family run, a/c and cable, the
name is terrasol, they have a website. the cost of a room if they're not full is 25 us for single, a great find! you can barter for a lower price and the owners are great.
