| Montreal | Montreal Patisseries - names of the ones not to be missed Posted: Tue April 29, 2008 02:42 AM UTC
Bonjour toute le monde =).
-------------------------------------------------- Anyone have names and addresses for wonderful patisseries in Montreal that are not to be missed? -------------------------------------------------- Have limited time in Montreal so want to maximize my time there and visit some much adored pastry shops that the locals love and hopefully like the pastry shops in France. If you know of any that are to 'die-for' please let me know. Merci Beaucoup. |

I would recommand you Pātisserie de Gascogne, a classy french style pastry shop. You can find the informations about the location and opening hours on their website:

The two that we encountered, both equally impressive were:
Le Brioche Lyonnaise on Rue St Denis in the Latin Quarter - www.labriochelyonnaise.com And Premiere Moisson which has several outlets around the city (we had petit dejeuner at the one on Sherbrook) - www.premieremoisson.com There are of course many others as this is something that the Canadians do seem to excel at. Enjoy, John.
