hehehe! super foodie ka talaga doc!
i suggest that post-dinner coffee at the camp john hay starbucks can be a good exercise especially if you don't have a ride.
if you have a friend who's a member of the baguio country club then ask them to take you out for dinner there. the cakes/desserts from their bakeshop are to die for.

hi there! been to baguio just last week and last year also went there.., must admit cafe runiz is a must, slaughter house for bulalo (carienderia style), ihaw ihaw sa burnham park, food stalls sa mines view, bread and more bread in camp john hay, honey on the rocks, pizza volante, cafe de batirol (but nothing much special just the place lang), oh my gulay... but nothing beats the good old lutong bhay were you cook baguio's veggies and whola ulam na... hope to be part of the raisin bread taste test.... will be posting pics from my recent baguio trip... ciao

Re: eat - dine - eat Posted: Mon June 16, 2008 01:29 PM UTC
Just arrived from Baguio yesterday.
It was a good experience but to tell you. I was really disappointed with PIZZA VOLANTE.. I read good reviews about this resto and i really searched for the resto and found it along the busy street and to my surprise! I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs which tasted like spaghetti with LOTS OF TOMATOES(tomatoes tasted like its the main ingredient..) really tastes sour and for real it made me vomit after eating it.. :( I tries Pizza hanna after, tasted better but NOT really good. Its just ordinary pizza with the very MAKUNAT crust.
But the brighter side is the VANILLA MILKSHAKE.. Good thing i ordered this and took all my worries away.
My friend (his frst time in baguio) got traumatized in trying new restos because of pizza volante.. :( i got his point..

I hope you did try the ones that have been recommended in this forum. They're all good (by our standards, that is).

hey chiqbones if you're a foodie, go farther like sagada. you'll be surprised to learn that such an isolated and small place can have restos that offer food that you can really enjoy. if you want mas malapit sa manila, angeles city ang alam ko -- sarap din mag food trip dun!
