| Texas | Bed and breakfast in the hill country, or surrounding area? Posted: Mon April 28, 2008 11:34 PM UTC
Yes, I realize that's a large area, but that's ok.
I want to send my parents on a combination mother's day/my dad's birthday trip. It doesn't have to be on Mother's day or even in May. I want to send them on a bed and breakfast sort of a trip. They like country-western style dancing, nice views, great food, BBQ, beer, etc. My dad is a big guy in his 70s so an active trip is out of the question. They both live northwest of Austin, so something in Wimberly, Kerrville, Inks Lake area, outskirts of San Antonio, Lake Travis.... you get the picture. Also, since I'm graduating from University next week, it can't be TOO expensive. I was thinking of maybe just paying for the bed and breakfast and giving them a list of ideas to do during the day. I was looking for a good site about B&Bs around this area, but I didn't find anything of much value. Thanks! |
