I am getting ready to head to Venezuela and my main goal is to spend my bday at Angel Fall. However, I am not sure how to get there, and the travel agencies that I emailed haven't answered yet. Anybody experienced travelling that part of the world? I am leaving onMay the 9th and I will be returning on May the 16th. HELP!!

I never went to Angel Fall but using some informations from the link (the region is inhabited by indigenous groups, Angel Fall is in Canaima National Park,Angel Fall position is pointed out by coordenate lines 62 grades, 32' 08"W
and 5 grades, 58' 03"N)
Why to write these coordenate lines? Maybe you'll find where is Angel Fall on your globe-shaped world.
I am sending to your VTmail a Venezuela's Map showing a tarmac paved road from Barcelona heading south and through El Dorado city. That's the road the venezuelans use to reach Angel Fall.

Well first thing yu need to know, it is not possible to get to Canaima by land, It is necessary to approach either by plane or helicopter, because of the few days you have for your trip i would say its better to arrange some tour whit a travel agency. Depending on your travel interest you can also take a bus to santa elena, ciudad bolivar or puerto ordaz and from there get a flight to canaima, there are many tour operators on those cities and angel falls are their main destination for sure. Hope this is useful, have a good time.

I took a night bus from Caracas to Ciudad Bolivar and the journey took about 9 hours. It was a bed bus which should be comfortable, but it was freezing cold!
