Hello,

Arriving to Malta airport about 6 am Sunday morning in May. Is there difficulties to get a taxi? We also have small child (11 months) and one person in wheel chair...?

How much is a taxi from the airport to Sliema?

The Taxis at Luqa International airport in Malta work 24/7...so no problem there.
As regarding the fare make sure you negotiate a fare as not al drivers use the meter.It can be from 25-35 Euros.

As Rockaria said in the previous post, there is a 24-hour taxi service from the airport. At the Arrivals Lounge there is a taxi booth and this displays fixed prices for various routes. From the airport to Sliema the price is Euro 20.35. However, should you wish to book a taxi during your visit do try to negiotiate a price, as Rockaria suggested. There shouldn't be a problem with the wheelchair unless you have a lot of luggage, in which case you may have to use two taxis.

I think Malta airport's system for taxis of fixed prices (and paying in advance) to destinations is excellent - takes a lot of the stress out of dealing with arrivals. Look for the booth once you exit the arrivals hall.
