Dear fellow VTers,

Please advise how to go to Putra World Trade Centre from the LCCT? As i be traveling alone, safety is of concern to me. This is also my first time arriving in the LCCT, thus really appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

Hi!

Frm the LCCT, take the SkyBus to KL Sentral (fare RM9). Once you reach KL Sentral, its better if you take the taxi direct to PWTC (fare approx RM10+) - you'll safe the hassle of changing the different train lines in KL.

if you still want to take the train at kl sentral to pwtc, go upstairs and take the putra line to masjid jamek station... change to rapidkl train to pwtc station on the sentul line... it would be a hassle if you have lugguage... as suggested by onion, just take a coupon taxi upstairs from the skybus coach station...

Thanks for the replies. I am wondering whether it would be faster if i take the express train from KLIA? I read somewhere that the journey from LCCT to KL Sentra will be very long especially during traffic jams?
The problem is that the journey between the LCCT and KLIA is pretty far away (30 min bus journey i think?)

And the skybus coach station is at KL Sentra? Thanks!

The SkyBus now use the newly opened Putrajaya highway, journey approx 45mins - 1 hr if no traffic to reach KL Sentral. The LCCT & KLIA Main terminal is abt 15-20mins away - could be longer if you have to wait for the shuttle bus btw the 2 terminals. If you are in no hurry, take the SkyBus direct to KL Sentral.

Here's another option if you want to take the airport train instead of bus to KL. From the LCCT, take the feeder bus to KLIA main terminal. Once in KLIA main terminal, you can take the KLIA Transit (not KLIA Express) train and allight at Bandar Tasik Selatan station - the station is connected to the RapidKL LRT station. From here, you can take the LRT heading towards Sentul Timur and allight at the PWTC station.

most easy way, to buy a taxi coupon to PWTC at the taxi coupon counter LCCT near exit, rate must be around RM 70.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think most probably i will just take the taxi at the LCCT since the taxi fare is only ard RM 70. I looked up the taxi fare at the LCCT website and am confused by the zone system. Is PWTC at Zone 502? Thanks!

Yes, PWTC is in KL city centre area within zone 502 as per the website.
