I am going to fly into haines and rent a car and drive around and go to haines junction, I think it is beautiful. then the nextday i am thinking of taking the fast ferry to skagway, then take a bus tour to the white pass, then take the ferry back to Juneau, but not sure if I need to go to both city or haines is enough for me?

Haines is a beautiful spot indeed. We stayed there for a week a couple of summers ago. My daughter lives in Juneau and we took the ferry up and back. Also took the local water taxi to Skagway and back for just a day. Skagway was very crowded with 5 huge cruise ships in - hard to find a place to sit. But the railway up to the Canadian border was worth the time and cost.
