Hello, I am considering taking my family to Zante for a week during the school hols in October and wondered if it would still be warm enough to swim??

Trying to predict the weather can be difficult because of local on the day variations.

this late september/ first day of oktober I was in Lefkada...the weather was good and we spent the day in the beach from 10,30 to 15.30/16.00...after was a little bit windy and u have to stay with your teeshirt...
The water: in Greece the water is colder htatn in Italy but this time I had the opportunity to swim with my 10 monts's old dougther....... this year was fantastic, but october is not a sure season!

October can be quite risky!
Sometimes the weather is fine and sometimes-which is the most possible-the weather is quite unpredictable:windy, rainy, chilly. The waters on that part of Greece are usually cold. Come on the first or the second week of September! October will be a dead season! Think again!
