Hello,
I have to visit Aveiro at the end of May and I am very concerned how I can travel back from Aveiro to Porto to catch an early flight from Porto Airport to the UK. The flight is at 11 am, so I have to be at the airport at least about 8:30-9:00 am. I checked the trains timetable and they start only after 8:30 am which is too late and I risk missing a flight. I could not find any information about buses from Aveiro to Porto. Can any one help me! Please!

I checked the timetable of train from Aveiro to Porto and you have a train that leaves Aveiro at 4.42 am and arrives at Porto – Campanha at 5.51 am. And in this station you can catch the metro to Francisco Sá Carneiro airport. I think you will not have difficult to find or a train or a bus to go from Aveiro to Porto, because there are a lot of them. If you need further help, please e-mail me. Ok?

To confirm the times of the LOCAL trains from Aveiro to Porto Campanha

0442 arrive 0551 DAILY
0617 arrive 0716 DAILY
0645 arrive 0745 WEEKDAYS ONLY
0717 arrive 0821 DAILY

These are local trains and you will find the full timetable at www.cp.pt under Hoararios, Urbanos, Porto. The 0645 (this does NOT run on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays)will get you to the airport in good time, so there is no need to get up in the middle of the night!

Make sure you know how to get to the station early in the morning as it is on the edge of the city and you may need a taxi.

You should allow about 30 - 40 minutes for the Metro direct from Porto Campanha station to the airport.
