Anyone know whats the available transport option from Sun Moon Lake(SML) to Hualien? Whats the cost like to hire a long distance taxi SML to Hualien? Is it very far? Will it be safe for ladies traveller? Any reliable taxi driver to recommend for the transport? thanks |

from Sun Moon Lake to Hualien, there are 2 route... one via central crossland highway, one alone the coast via Taipei.
there is no bus on central crossland highway, but I think you can take taxi :) the route is more beautiful!! Yes it's far...

if you go via Taipei, you can choose bus & train. but via central crossland highway, only hire Taxi..
