| Toronto | Where to watch the football (soccer)? Posted: Sun April 27, 2008 03:24 PM UTC
Hi guys im gonna be arriving in toronto from the UK on 29th April and really really need to watch the Champions League Semi Final between Liverpool and Chelsea (come on the pool!) on the 30th.
Is there a lot of interest in these games in canada? Will it be on TV / Cable or in a pub anywhere? Thanks! |

rest assured this game will be broadcast live by one of the several sports channels.
however, you need to find a sports bar or check with your hotel for the channel. for Rogers Cable service, the channels would be # 22 (Rogers), 30 (TSN), 53 (The Score).

Where in Toronto are you staying? Pretty much rest assured that any pub will be showing it (my brother's pub will have it on the big screen, but it's a 1/2 hr. north of the airport).
Enjoy your trip and the game.
