will there be shuttle near the ferry dock to take me to the chapel then take me to downtown??

The address is: 21425 Glacier Hwy. Daisy - check their website for directions - www.shrineofsainttherese.org/main_pages/faqs.htm. It looks like there isn't any shuttle or public transportation. Happy Travels.

Bus doesn't go out that far. If you have time you can try hitch hiking/walking - it is beautiful country. Keep an eye out for black bears.

Rent a car, hire a taxi or take a motorcoach tour that stops at the shrine. City Buses stop at Auke Bay, so no option there. Some whale watching companies get out that way, and depending on fishing season a sport fishing charter will get you there, but a stop to explore on shore would require a private charter.
