Hi,
Am planning to travel with Hubby and our 2 years old son. We used to be backpackers before we have kid. I'm wondering if hostels in australia allow toddlers. Obviously we will opt for the double room. Other than hostels, any suggestion what are options for budget travellers with a toddler? Thinking of B&Bs but is there B&Bs located in the central? Thanks a bunch beforehand! |

About the hostels and a toddler, I think it best if you ask each hostel individually. Some of them after all consider themselves "good party places". Not quite the atmosphere I would want for a toddler...
In Australia, cheap living places are called motels. There is a great site that I used for my trip there. They give you a list of places and you can write to them each and ask any questions you want. A lot of YHA hostels are family friendly.
http://www.yha.com.au Otherwise as the last person mentioned, a lot of motels have good prices.

Ask about a "family room", I,m positive that some Hostels allow children but not which ones.
